After completing his political science and political philosophy studies in Germany and Great Britain, Henning Heuerding worked as a chartered accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in London from 1993. He completed his training as a Chartered Accountant in 1996. Henning Heuerding joined PwC Germany in Frankfurt / Main in 1998 and became a partner in the Banking / Insurance sector in 2002, where he was responsible for the company's Financial Due Diligence sector.
In 2006, Henning Heuerding joined the Deutsche Bank Group as Managing Director of the Group Strategy division. As Head of Integration Management, he was responsible for governance, planning, development and monitoring of the integration strategy for acquisitions. From 2010 to 2016, he held various positions, including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Deutsche Bank Nederland NV, Amsterdam, as well as in the Group Incident & Investigation Management division of Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt / Main at management level.
At the same time, Henning Heuerding had been a member of the Supervisory Board of Sal. Oppenheim since March 2010 and of BHF-BANK's Supervisory Board until March 2014. He chaired the Risk and Audit Committees in both bodies. In April 2016, Henning Heuerding was appointed to the Executive Board of Sal. Oppenheim.
Henning Heuerding has been a member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Oppenheim Family Office AG since September 2019.
