Executive Board

Confidence, vision, empathy and customer focus form the bedrock of our client relations. This is particularly true for our Board members. They personally manage complex assets and place the interests of their clients at the heart of their work.

Stefan Freytag

After studying business management at Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, Stefan Freytag began his career in 1985 as a Finance Assistant with Bayerische Rückversicherung AG. He had held various positions there as Securities Advisor, Investment Department Manager and as Head of Finance, when he decided in 1998 to take on the position of Securities Department Manager at Swiss Life Deutschland. Freytag was then employed by the subsidiary Swiss Life Asset Management KAG mbH as Managing Director, and later appointed as Chief Investment Officer at Swiss Life Deutschland.

In 2006, he moved to the Executive Board of Wilhelm von Finck AG and chaired the Executive Board of Wilhelm von Finck Deutsche Family Office AG from 2011. 

His particular area of responsibility is the Family Office consulting.

Stefan Freytag has been Speaker for the Executive Board of Deutsche Oppenheim Family Office AG since 2020.

Dr. Heiner Arnoldi

After his bank training with Deutsche Bank in Hamburg, Dr. Heiner Arnoldi commenced his studies as a holder of a scholarship of the “Stifterverband für die deutsche Wissenschaft” at the University of Hamburg, where he graduated in 1990. He then worked in corporate finance at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt. At the same time, he completed his doctoral thesis at the University of Frankfurt.

From 1993 to 1995, Dr. Arnoldi was Assistant to the Management Board and subsequently assumed a Director position with Deutsche Bank’s Global Corporate Finance division in Frankfurt. In 2004, he moved to WestLB in Düsseldorf as head of the M&A division and one year later also took over the Corporate Investments department as divisional director.

Dr. Arnoldi has been a Managing Director of Sal. Oppenheim since 2007. After heading Real Estate Investment Banking and the Investment Banking & Special Projects division, he assumed responsibility for the Legacy sector in April 2012 and has been a member of Sal. Oppenheim's Extended Executive Board since April 2013. In March 2017, Dr. Arnoldi was appointed as member of the Sal. Oppenheim Executive Board.

Dr. Heiner Arnoldi has been a member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Oppenheim Family Office AG since September 2019.

Dr. Jörn Matthias Häuser

Following a degree in physics at Justus-Liebig-Universität in Gießen and at the University of Washington in Seattle, Dr. Häuser acquired his doctorate in theoretical physics in Gießen. Subsequently, he worked for a management consultancy for three years.

Since 2000, he has been employed by Deutsche Bank group, first in Inhouse Consulting, then in various areas of Private Banking and Private Wealth Management (PWM), among other positions, as Chief Operating Officer of PWM Deutschland and as Co-Program Manager of the New PWM platform with Deutsche Bank in Geneva (Switzerland).

In parallel, he acquired an MBA degree from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) in Geneva in 2005 and an Executive MBA from the Tepper School of Business at the Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh in 2007.

From 2010 to the end of 2014, he was employed by Sal. Oppenheim as Chief Operating Officer.

In October 2014, he joined Deutsche Oppenheim Family Office AG as Chief Operating Officer.

Since January 2017, he has been a member of the board of Deutsche Oppenheim Family Office AG.

Henning Heuerding

After completing his political science and political philosophy studies in Germany and Great Britain, Henning Heuerding worked as a chartered accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in London from 1993. He completed his training as a Chartered Accountant in 1996. Henning Heuerding joined PwC Germany in Frankfurt / Main in 1998 and became a partner in the Banking / Insurance sector in 2002, where he was responsible for the company's Financial Due Diligence sector.

In 2006, Henning Heuerding joined the Deutsche Bank Group as Managing Director of the Group Strategy division. As Head of Integration Management, he was responsible for governance, planning, development and monitoring of the integration strategy for acquisitions. From 2010 to 2016, he held various positions, including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Deutsche Bank Nederland NV, Amsterdam, as well as in the Group Incident & Investigation Management division of Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt / Main at management level.

At the same time, Henning Heuerding had been a member of the Supervisory Board of Sal. Oppenheim since March 2010 and of BHF-BANK's Supervisory Board until March 2014. He chaired the Risk and Audit Committees in both bodies. In April 2016, Henning Heuerding was appointed to the Executive Board of Sal. Oppenheim.

Henning Heuerding has been a member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Oppenheim Family Office AG since September 2019.

Oliver Leipholz


After acquiring his A-levels degree, Mr. Leipholz underwent training as a banker at Stadtsparkasse Munich, where he subsequently worked as an investement consultant.
After completing his consulting acitivites at Stadtsparkasse Munich, Mr. Leipholz changed to a subsidiary of the ProSieben Group.

In April 2001, Oliver Leipholz commenced his career with the Wilhelm von Finck AG and from 2005 on headed the Equities division in the Asset Management sector.
In 2007, Mr. Leipholz completed his studies at the DVFA and successfully acquired the title of CIIA - International Investment Analyst.

In October 2008, he took over as Head of Portfolio Management. His specialized area of responsibility is asset management as well as the FOS investment funds family.

He has been a member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Oppenheim Family Office AG since August 2019.
