The sustainability-oriented* investment fund FOS Performance und Sicherheit offers a permanent and systematic risk concept for the fund’s assets.
With its smart combination of risk reduction, return orientation and sustainability the fund addresses mainly foundations and other non-profit organisations which pursue two main goals: to protect their capital in real terms and to generate distributions.
As investment advisers to the fund, we pursue a clearly structured, active asset allocation structures and rely on our proven investment capabilities. The fund takes ecological, social and ethical investment criteria into account. The stockpicking process respects, inter alia, the sustainability criteria defined jointly with ISS-ESG.
Permanent overlay advice is intended to limit the risk of losses to an annualized 7,5 % as far as possible (targeted loss limination, not capital protection and no guarantee).
By steering market price risks (overlay management), the assets of the fund are to be protected against an annualised loss of more than 7.5 % (no guarantee).
*Disclaimer Sustainability, October 2020
There is currently a lack of uniform criteria and a common market standard for the assessment and classification of financial services and financial products as sustainable. This can lead to different providers assessing the sustainability of financial services and financial products differently. In addition, there are various new regulations on ESG (Environment, Social and Corporate Governance) and Sustainable Finance, which need to be substantiated, and further draft regulations are currently being developed, which may lead to financial services and financial products currently designated as sustainable not meeting future legal requirements for qualification as sustainable.
