Dr. Jörn Matthias Häuser read physics at Justus-Liebig-University, Gießen, and the University of Washington, Seattle, and obtained his doctorate in theoretical physics at the university of Gießen. He then worked for three years for a management consultancy.
He joined Deutsche Bank Group in 2000 and has held various positions in the Group, includ-ing in Inhouse Consulting and several Private Banking and Private Wealth Management (PWM) departments. Among other functions, he worked as Chief Operating Officer at PWM Germany and as Co-Program Manager of New PWM Platform at Deutsche Bank AG in Ge-neva (Switzerland).
During this period, he obtained an MBA degree from École des Hautes Études Commercials (HEC), Geneva, and an Executive MBA degree from Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh.
From 2010 until end-2014, he worked as Chief Operating Officer at Sal. Oppenheim.
In October 2014, he joined Deutsche Oppenheim Family Office AG as Chief Operating Of-ficer.
He has been sitting on the executive board of Deutsche Oppenheim Family Office AG since January 2017.
